Wheel alignment you can measure yourself.

Cheetalign turns your iPhone or iPad into an alignment gauge. It starts with camber on your phone and grows into full four-wheel alignment with Bluetooth sensors.

Rear view of a wheel on level ground. Your spec depends on the car.

Four angles decide how a car drives.

Alignment is a handful of angles. Here's what each one means.

Camber

How far the wheel tilts in or out when you look at it from the front or back. Negative camber tilts the top of the wheel toward the car.

Toe

Whether the wheels point slightly toward each other or away from each other, like your feet when you stand.

Caster

The forward or backward lean of the steering axis, seen from the side. It affects steering feel and how well the wheel returns to center.

Thrust angle

The direction the rear axle points compared with the centerline of the car. If it's off, the car can "dog track" down the road.

Cheetalign starts with camber and builds toward the full set.

Measure, compare, adjust.

  1. 1

    Start on level ground

Alignment readings are only as good as the surface under the car. Park on a flat, level spot.

  2. 2

    Measure each wheel

Start with your phone against the wheel. As Cheetalign grows, add Bluetooth sensors for toe, caster, and thrust angle.

  3. 3

    Compare to spec

See your numbers next to factory specs, so you know how far off you are and which way to adjust.

One app, four levels.
